Who ARE WE?

We are a Multimedia company based in the North-West, dedicated to subverting the conventional art forms from theatre to albums; incorporating a wide range of collaborators to achieve this goal. We strive to engage audiences as active participants within our carefully crafted worlds, even if they aren’t knowingly complicit. Whether they are sitting in a packed theatre space or listening from the comfort of their own homes; we invite our audience to partake on a journey where they don’t just observe but are actively within the unfolding narrative.

What is our objective?

We aspire to motivate audiences to actively engage with every aspect of their psyche, allowing for thought provoking discussions and self reflection but still providing escapist entertainment for those who do not want to! We love full inclusivity for the average theatre-goer but strive to redefine what it means to be an audience through a range of media and art forms.  We seek to transform thematic music and redefine what it means to use multidisciplinary in performances. Ultimately, our goal is to spark discussions, build rapport with our collaborators and audience; and utilize multimedia in a way that stirs emotion in a way that isn’t trivialized or gimmicky.

  • We are committed to ensuring that no matter what background you come from; you will be able to see at least one of our productions, thanks to low budget minimalist pieces that put imagination and participation in the forefront.

  • Every line of dialogue, every chord stricken, every muscle moved on and off stage is completely raw and organic; thanks to our verbatim improvisational rehearsal process. We allow all collaborators to put themselves in their work and play around until we see what works brilliantly!

  • Each piece provides a different way to enjoy and hones in on ensuring that at least one specific group of audience members can enjoy a performance, from audio dramas suited for the visually impaired; to silent films for the hard of hearing.

  • We pride ourselves on ensuring that despite our lack of budget, we focus every aspect of our pieces to be as accurate as possible for the time period, themes and character psychology.

  • From the triggering themes that often get overlooked by society, to bringing the idea of audiences having accountability within the pieces they are witnessing: we love to push the lines of comfortability and really make the audience think on our messages and themes; whilst still providing entertaining pieces to enjoy!

  • The majority of themes and character profiling has elements of our own lived in experiences as we always want to make sure we are never shoehorning in any aspects just for the sake of it! When we cannot do so, we ensure to reach out to professionals in that area for research and consultancy bases.

  • We always aim to write naturalistic dialogue no matter how extravagant our worlds are, to allow for better freedom of expression for our collaborating performers; and also for building rapport with the audience who may have been through similar experiences and conversations.
